Club Information

Conservation Efforts

As a Club, we are actively involved in providing funding and volunteers to help with programs and projects that help us preserve, protect, and restore the fisheries and habitats that we all share.

Monthly Newsletter

A monthly newsletter is published to keep members informed on what’s happening, including meeting information and other items of interest.

Club Outings

Each year, we have several Club outings.  These special events give our members a chance to fish with some of the best fly fishers in this area.  Club members are exceptional in sharing information and taking time to demonstrate fishing techniques.  Three of the more popular outings include annual trips to Rocky Ford Creek in sotheastern Washington (early Spring), the Lochsa River in Idaho (August)  and Anthony Lake in northeastern Oregon (September).

Free Classes

In an effort to promote fly-fishing in our local community we offer free beginner fly tying, fly casting and rod building classes each year.  All classes are taught by CBFC members who are accomplished tyers, casters and rod builders.

How To Join

Come to the next monthly meeting and obtain a Membership Form or use the Membership Form in the brochure below to join the Columbia Basin Fly Casters.  Complete the form at the meeting or mail it to our Post Office Box (PO 791, Richland, WA, 99352).  Either way we would be honored to have you, your family & friends, or your business included in our club.  An individual/family membership is $25 per calendar year and a business membership is $35 and includes a business card advertisement in our Monthly Newsletter.
